Oregon Tree & Vine is a small, stubbornly independent nursery tucked away in the foothills south of Eugene, Oregon. Owned and operated by two cousins who have a passion for farming and a love of exploring the natural world around them, we grow hardy trees, vines, shrubs, and evergreens for real-life gardens, landscapes, and habitat projects. Our plants are chosen for their value to wildlife, resilience in local soils, and their ability to help knitt damaged landscapes back together.

Like many small business owners, we started with a dream to ditch the mundane 8 to 5 and do something we loved, work for ourselves, and share our knowledge and experience with those in our communities. Initially armed with a plan to be strictly a rootstock nursery, we eventually decided to branch out (pun definitely intended) into hardy plants that grow well in the local area. 5 years (and many challenges) later, our first official season will open this year on August 1, 2026.

Our goal is to empower farmers, gardeners, and novices alike with knowledge and confidence, allowing folks to experience the same joy we do watching plants grow and change over the seasons. With enough knowledge and experience, anyone can grow their own food, and fiber.

Over 95% of the species we sell are grown here in Oregon in our greenhouses south of Eugene. The remaining 5% (our grapevine rootstock) is grown in the Southern San Joaquin Valley in California.

Come see us at the Spencer Creek Community Grower's Market on Saturdays at the Spencer Creek Grange. Market hours are 10am to 2pm.
