Moderate to high vigor, slow initial growth increasing after the first few years, encourages early development and maturity, and suitable for scions that are sensitive during flowering.
Notably low vigor, advances ripening, induces high yield-to-pruning ratios. Suitable for fertile areas where lower yield is desired or acceptable, as fruit thinning must occur seasonally.
Moderate vigor, low yield-to-pruning ratios, and a shallow branching root system. Suitable for shallow, wet soils.
Moderate vigor, known for compatibility with most scions and it's high tolerance to the root form of phylloxera.
Over 95% of the species we sell are grown here in Oregon in our greenhouses south of Eugene. The remaining 5% (our grapevine rootstock) is grown in the Southern San Joaquin Valley in California.
Come see us at the Spencer Creek Community Grower's Market on Saturdays each summer at the Spencer Creek Grange. Market hours are 10am to 2pm. We'll have a booth starting in 2024!
